A St. Patty's Day Birth- Colorado Springs Birth

On March 17th I woke up to a text 2:42 am to let me know that it might be the birth day. Megan’s waves had started around midnight and she thought her water broke before she texted. She wasn’t quite ready for me, so I headed back to bed and got another text at 4:21am that she was ready for me to head to her. We agreed to meet at her house and I got there at 5 am. Right away I knew things were probably progressing faster than anticipated. She was working through her waves in the shower when I got there. I called the birth center to let them know we were going to be on our way after watching her through a few waves. Megan worked wonderfully through all her waves and kept in her hypnosis so well. She gave birth in the water at 7:53 am. It was a beautiful fast first birth for this mama.
